You'd probably know Dance Hall Days if you heard it, and if you've seen Breakfast Club you may recognize Fire in the Twilight.  :)

Everybody Wang Chung Tonight!  :)

By the way, what exactly is "Wang Chung-ing" anyway?  ???

'Let's go' is my favourite for it's rousing chorus followed (incredibly closely) by 'Everybody have fun tonight' and then 'Dance Hall Days' (Even though I have absolutely no idea what it's all about).

"Dance Hall Days" for me, too.

I like that "soulful" part...

When I, you and everyone we knew
Could believe, do, and share in what was true

I think you need an all-80's station to hear "Dance Hall Days" anymore, and only the 80's bands of XM radio seem to play "Hypnotize Me", "To Live And Die In L.A.", and my personal favorite, "Let's Go!". Otherwise, the radio stations only play "EHFT", the 80's anthem for New Year's Eve parties.

BTW, anyone remember this?

I was listening to a rock n'roll station in my car on the way over here. There was a passage in one of those tribal songs, that I think sets the tone for this evening:
"Everybody Have Fun Tonight, Everybody Wang Chung Tonight."
--Dr. Frasier Crane, arriving at Sam Malone's bachelor party, on Cheers

My fav is Dance Hall Days.  Everybody Have Fun Tonight is one of my least favorite songs in general.  I dont know any of the others.

I chose other for their minor hit Don't Be My Enemy, followed closely by Dance Hall Days and To Live and Die in L.A. I thought their entire soundtrack for that movie was really well done. I don't like Everybody Have Fun Tonight either.

The whole POINTS ON THE CURVE album is a production masterpiece.  I'm usually lukewarm on that style of pop, but the Wang craftsmanship is PHEE-NOMENAL!

I like all of them, Wang Chung is a great band, if you get a chance check out to soundtrack to "To Live And Die In L.A.", the movie is good too!

I voted for Dance Hall Days.

I voted for Hypnotize Me as my favorite.  :)

But I would follow that closely with Dance Hall Days , and also liked To Live and Die in L.A. and of course Everybody Have Fun Tonight.  That one was just a little "overplayed" around here.  :-[

I guess I hadn't voted in this one yet... the two songs of theirs I know the best are "Dance Hall Days" and "Everybody Have Fun Tonight." My vote goes to the latter, so long as they don't edit out that one portion of the song immediately after the line "a celebration, so spread the word.."

Oops! I didn't realise I replied to this thread a few years ago, lol. Interestingly enough, I chose 'Everybody have fun tonight' followed by 'Dance Hall Days' followed by 'Let's go' - it's amazing how tastes change.
