I like the video for "If This Is It"....the band members were buried in the sand up to their necks, and their heads were swaying back and forth to the music.  ;D

I want a new drug.

I chose If This Is It I love the video and the song is one of my favorites from them.
But I have to say that Stuck with You came in at a very close second.

I voted for the first video they ever did called "Do You Believe In Love" from 1982. It was funny watching Huey "Yelling" in the girls ear but she didn't move at all. Good Actress!

I found their music very formulaic, and them somewhat over-rated  :o

I never found anything formulaic about Huey's music, in fact in the early 80's I found them a nice break from the barrage of formulaic New Wave and Heavy Metal groups, all trying to copy the sound of a few originals! After all, Ray Parker Jr. found them original enough to rip them off, speeding up the bassline of "I Want A New Drug" to create the Ghostbusters theme song.

Meanwhile, while my favorite HLN song is "New Drug", my favorite video remains "If This Is It".

The first time I saw that video and the drummer slammed his sticks in to the bass drum
filled with milk, I must have sounded like Jeff Spicoli... Wah ah ah ah dude that was sooo cool

Remember this scene when Spicoli has a pizza delivered to the class room and he says something like,
"well if this time is our time then whats the problem with a little grub on our time"  but I don't think
thats exactly how it went... maybe someone knows, how that line went!
