My fav from the list is the Goonies song.  My most fav is "Hole In My Heart (that goes all the way to China)".  I cant find that song for anything either, surprised it wasnt on 12 Deadly Cyns.

I love singing along to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" at the top of my voice while driving in my car (by myself, of course!)  It's totally a Homer Simpson move on my part, but I don't care.  Song just makes me feel good every time I hear it.

Have you heard Celine Dion's version of "I Drove All Night"?  While I'm not a big Celine fan, I was very impressed by her rendition of this song (I like it even better than the original one by Cyndi Lauper, which is also awesome)

well, i don't know if she is recording, but she was recently on an episode of disney's "that's so raven" as the art teacher!

Me too!  I'm a sucker for sentiment.  I always thought Cyndi was cool because I was always attracted to weird girls who wore thriftstore improv outfits and dyed their hair funky colors.

Did you know "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" was written by Robert Hazard?  See your New Wave Hits of the '80s collections for "Escalator of Life."  Robert Hazard's band was pretty hot in Philly, late '70s/early '80s.
