I remember seeing a late 80's John Hughes movie called "Some Kind Of Wonderful" with Eric Stoltz, Mary Stuart Masterson and Leah Thompson that I really liked. (BTW...whatever happened to John Hughes? He hasn't directed a movie in years...)

Yes, Corey Haim is still alive, in fact he lives in my friend's apartment building in Toronto.
I have heard of many Corey Sightings, including at the local video store.

Hey! Fast Time At Ridgemont High was definitely NOT cheesy! It's the greatest movie of all time! 8)

River's Edge was cheesy. I liked that one. It was about some high school metalheads who were apathetic about one of their friends who murdered another friend. It had bad acting by Keanu Reeves and Gripson Gover and had a soundtrack that was about 1/2 Slayer.

The Goonies, Gremlins, Masters of the Universe, Ferris Beuller's Day off (one of those rare movies I can watch again and again), Labyrinth, Willow and Flight of the Navigator are all cheesy and have found a loving place on my DVD shelf.

My favourite cheesy movie of all time is WIERD SCIENCE!  :D

"The Legend of Billie Jean" is so bad it's good.

Woops, the guy that played the kidnap victim also played in Christine. I've been told that I look like him.

With hindsight...the Star Wars movies were pretty cheesy. But excellent for their time, and a good message. Just cheesy effects.

Wrong again! All words after "Woops" are MINE, not his. This quote thing isn't working for me.

Gymkata was a cheesy movie. But speaking of cheesy, cheesy actor Anthony Michael Hall grew up considerably less geeky. He now appears on TV's The Dead Zone. Much better than 16 Candles.

Say, did you know Heather Graham also had a cameo in the '88 smash "TWINS"? She didn't have any lines, but in the opening, she appeared as the young Mary Ann Benedict, posing for the pivotal photo before becoming Mom to Arnold & Danny! And for you CSI-Miami fans like me, ever notice Al the parking attendant was played by a young David Caruso? But in all fairness, TWINS was hardly plausible, but certainly not cheesy.
