Written By: woops on 07/03/04 at 3:41 am

My choices:

Toni Basil "Mickey"
ABC "The Look Of Love"
Debbie Gibson "Out Of The Blue"
Poison "Talk Dirty To Me"
Stacey Q "Two Of Hearts"
Kylie Minogue "I Should Be So Lucky"
Faster Pussycat "Bathroom Wall"

Mickey
Dancing in the Streets
Private eyes
The look of love
Lost in Edmonton
Crush on you
Careless Whisper
Warrior
Heartbeat
Somebody watching me
Faithfully

But none of them are secrets. A lot of people know I like these songs.

Just my opinion, with all due respect, there are way too many choices in some of the polls and too many options allowed to be chosen, which make it almost pointless to vote.

It's almost better to let people rattle-off their true video guilty pleasures.

Daryl Hall & John Oates "Private Eyes"
Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up"
Wham! "Careless Whisper"

Am I the only one who noticed Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me" is on the poll twice?  ::)

That said, I agree with the person who posted "Dancing In The Streets" (Jagger/Bowie).  If I was punching around on the remote and saw that playing, I'd stop and watch it again.

The Jets would be my ultimate!

Others I voted for from that list... Rick Astley, Kylie, Hall & Oates.

I went for
Rockwell
ABC
Styx
Stacy Q
Wham

My write in is for Max Q (no relation to Stacy) and the song "Way of the World."  Max Q was a short-lived side-project by Michael Hutchence.  "Way of the World" has over-the-top doomsayer lyrics and a chorus protesting social control by religion and war:
"Whether it's God or the Bomb it's just the same,
and it's only fear under another name!"
The video is awesome.  It has a sort of Godfrey Reggio "Koyaanisqatsi" feel to it and ends with a shot of the Twin Towers looming in the background, which unintentionally trebled the video's menacing message so many years later!
:o

But come on, it's still an INXS child and I can't deny the lyrics are rather hokey and juvenile!
