Subject: saddle bags?

hi,
I have a problem here. I have been looking for a leather bag that I had years ago. Now I can't remember what they were actually called but it was quite large, tan leather and inside it had a couple of compartments and little pen loops.It had a flap with a buckle on the front. I think they may have been called "saddlebags" (but I thought these were the ones that looked like a 'D' upside down) This one I dad was rectangular. They were popular with girls/women. If anybody can help I would appreciate it!!
