A local TV channel showed a few clips of an 80's TV series ( as a part of another program) in which a guy turns into various animal forms to fight crime. Does anyone know the name of series? ???

Could be the 1980's short lived show called "Manimal" that starred Simon McCorkindale..who later joined Falcon Crest. It was on NBC and was cancelled pretty quickly.

Yes it is "Manimal" (in a later ad the channel revealed it's name) Thanks rubixgirl & howard for the info. Were there any more such TV series or movies in the 80's? By the way rubixgirl a nice pic of the show. 8) 8) 8)
