Subject: Laura Brannigan

Written By: MaxwellSmart on 08/30/04 at 1:00 am

I heard Laura Brannigan just died of a brain aneurysm at the age of 47.  I haven't found any reliable confirmation.  Is this true or just a rumor?
??? ??? ???

how sad *sigh* My mom's name is Gloria, we all loved to play that song when I was growing up on the juke box they used to have in the den.  My mom loved to blast that song.  I remember she had such strength in her voice.

In the 1980's Laura had a badd-a** bodyguard who was tried twice for a quadruple murder in LA and acquitted.  Later after he died one of his conspirators confessed the whole thing to the Feds.

Now THATS an effective bodyguard.  Nobody would want to mess with her with a bodyguard like that.  :-\\

:\'(  I was very shocked when I found out on www.amiannoying.com. I saw the "In the news" list and found Laura Branigan's name. A sharp pain hit my stomach. Because she had not been in the limelight lately, I feared the only reason she'd be in the news is if she died. My fears were confirmed when I read in her profile "July 3, 1957-August 26, 2004".

I was reading her obituary in People magazine, and it turns out that her father and grandfather also died from brain aneurysm. Guess it was a genetic disorder. :\'(

Why she might be annoying
She was an alcoholic and cocaine abuser.
She claimed she had an obsession for music.
She admited to being inconsistent.

So this is why she might have been annoying.  ::)
