Subject: Freaky librarians

Alright try this.
It's an eighties show that you probably watched in your elementary school library. It was science fiction set in an apocolyptic future. It had a not-so-veiled goal of promoting good research skills. I think there were people traped underground, a race of savages (who didn't appreciate books) and headbands with little lights on them. The person who can name it will be bestowed with the title of eigties master of the universe.
