Subject: 80's kids show w/ witch and librarian

i am trying to think of this 1980's kids show where there was a librarian (perhaps marian the librarian) and possibly a witch. i just remember the intro being freaky. can you remember this show? i think it was on nickelodeon.

Marian the Librarian was from Music Man, which I don't belieive is the show you're looking for. :)

"Once Upon a Time".
This was a 15-minute educational show from Nebraska ETV. That woman character's name was Marian, the librarian., and there was a witch.
They made another show, "Star Lore" where the same woman who played Marian played someone else who was kidnapped into a space ship, and the same woman as the witch played the evil whoever-it-was from space who captured her.
The same storyline - the main character had to find a story good enough for the witch/space prisoner to let her go.
