I pick "Dancing in the Sheets" by Shalimar because I think that is such a cool song - I also like "I'm Free" by Kenny Loggins, which is just as good as the title song he recorded.  8)

I picked "Dancing in the Sheets". I love that song! My second pick would be "Let's Hear it For the Boy".

Heaven helps the man (I'm free).  I love this movie and this soundtrack!  This to me i the best part of the movie when Ariel's dad decides to let them have the dance, tells them in Church, and they are driving around town and they go to decorate the place for the dance.

This was a very hard choice to make. I went with "I'm Free" but I love the whole album! :)

John Cougar Mellencamp: Hurts So Good

Also, Quiet Riot: Cum On Feel the Noize
(it was in the movie, though briefly)

I'm not ga-ga for any song on "Footloose" really, but thanks for leaving Sammy Hagar off the list!
