Yeah great song. The video was a bit naff but still, it was the very early 80s (82 I think . . . ).

Hey you know what? The cheerleader movie Bring It On was just on TV here in OZ over the weekend... they used "Mickey" somewhere, 'cos it was on the TV ad... :D

It wasnt actually her song.  Racey wrote it as Oh Kitty (about a girl) - and loaned it to her as a joke (the joke being that she wasnt actually a singer). The original song can be heard on a couple of Raceys albums from the late 70's and early 80's.

Afterwards she went back to her normal career of choreographer.  If you read the credits to practically any movie or TV show that features dancing - ten to one you spot her name.

Actually - if you put her name in IMDB under crew - it should bring up all the work she has done.

Think it was Toni Basil, but she did a pretty good song called Girls Night Out in about 1978 possibly on SNL.  It was a great video, and TB looked kind of hot.  Sorry I can't be more specific, but things were hazy at the time, vaguely recall having had a few.
