Do any of you remember the t.v. show Rags to Riches about the rich guy who adopt five girls? They all lived in this awesome mansion and of course there was always drama going on. I LOVED that show. I wanted to be the girl with the long blonde hair. She always wore the prettiest clothes.

The last episode (season finale) was interrupted by the coverage of the little girl, Jessica, who fell in the well. I remember I was so mad, not knowing that news break would make headlines all across the world.

I remember that show! It would come on Sunday evenings on NBC! Joseph Bologna was the rich dude and Tisha Campbell was the black girl. I remember the pilot where they sang "Dream Lover" and Tisha was ironing some clothes as one of the girls was running away!

  I never quite understood why he picked all of them to live there if they were all different and were so busy not getting along and wanting to run away.  But i did watch and share your feelings that it never got a chance to catch on with the public!

Tisha Campbell Martin, who played Marva, is the wife on ABC's My Wife and Kids and she was Gina on Fox's Martin with Martin Lawrence. She has done many movies and shows. As for the others I don't know.

The series ran from 1987 thru 1988 --- NBC , season 1 aired on Sundays, season 2 aired  on Fridays. The last episode aired in January of 1988 and was called Sweet 16- It was an episode where Diane had a sweet 16 party and Nick built a bomb shelter.
