Anybody watching it? absolutly incredible!! :) my fav subjects was 1980-1988 and the Def Jam years (beastie boys, Run DMC,Slick Rick) before this "Gangsta" Sh!# messed everything up! >:(

I've been watching it and enjoying it very much. It was amazing to see a very young (and very skinny) LL Cool J! I'd forgotten how much I loved that music when I was younger.

I watched it. It reminds me of everything in my old neighborhood in Philly. Same vibe and fun. I miss those times. It has evolved into mostly crap, though.

The Golden Age: 1979 (with "Rapper's Delight") to 1993.  8) Back when hip hop really meant something & being fun.


The only Gangsta rap materail I like are some from Dre. Dre & Snoop. (mostly from the early '90's and "The Chronic Album")

hip hop has changed over the past 25 years.It went from fun and exciting to gangsta shootings,cop killings,ho's and curse words. :P
