Because this is the era of disposable music. people come in and "hit and quit". no real talent like they had in the 80s! :(

I know it's like impossible to be as good as the original song We Are The World,

But I'm a person that gives out his opinion before he ever heard the song, but after I'll listen to it then I can bash it,

Couldn't he just had asked Quincy Jones's permission before doing such a thing?  >:(

I heard Quincy Jones IS on the project. And there's this little girl who was on Opra that's also contributing her voice to the remake.

I still prefer the classics though.

absolutely NOTHING will beat the original !...some people hate it ..some love it !... to me it was one of the best songs put together
by such a large variety of artist's...that even today ..either by audio or video ..is still one of the most inspirational songs out.
and if you ask me...it beats the pants off " band aids - do they know it's chrismas try hard version ( should'nt say that...they meant well....).
but usually to me, these days, any re:make of an oldie in the running is bound to be a disaster,before even released....sorry, but im use too being majorly let down by the pathetic try hard, so called "talent " of today !
i'll lay $20 thats its a disaster !  ::)

"We Are The World" re-make should sound more of like a rap tune then the beginning version of WATW in 1984. ;D
