Subject: Monorail Toy

Trying to remember a name of a toy I had in the late eighties.
Essentially it was a monrail with red track in plastics pieces. You could attach it to climb the walls and even across the ceiling!
The"train" was infact styled as a white spaceship, and had an infrared target.
The gun was also shaped like a black spaceship.
You could use it just like a normal train set, or like a game by trying to shoot the moving monorail.
Searched the web but can't find it. Could have sworn it had somehting to do with either scalextric or hornby but not been able to find it.
Can anybody suggest what it was?

its called 3.D.S Mission 1 by hornby
yes i cant find it on the internet but i bought one from a toy collecter. it also has a polystirene planet and a picture of space for a backdrop comes with 15 feet of track. i have a picture of the box but dont know how to attach it to this reply
