I need help with this song---artist& title I tried to google it w/o success. It's sung by a man in a soft voice. The song is uplifting, quick paced with alot of synth. The main lyric is when he quickly sings "Everything's Going my Way". Leading up to the main lyric, the pace is slower and he sings in a soothing voice. Thanks!

I might know what song you are talking about, but I don't know the name or the group either? I'm thinking of a video where the band is performing ouside in the winter next to a railroad? Yeah they sing the main part fast then slow it down.

Yes, your comments are right except I have no clue what the video was like.  I'm not even sure if it was just a single guy or group that sang it. I would guess this song to be roughly 1988 or earlier.  I know it was a hit.  The synth in the song I would compare to "Head over Heels" by Tears for Fears.  Of course the tone was very different ÂÂÂ

The only song I can think of with that line is "Montego Bay", although that one came out in 1970 - probably not what you had in mind.

No, Thanks it's not scitti pilliti. Thanks for trying. I'm pretty sure this song was as popular as "Everyone Have Fun tonight" by Wang Chung. It had the same sort of "feel." I know it was a hit song in the 80s.

I do sort of remember a song like that...but the only thing I could find on the internet was a song Everything's Going My Way by The Queers...but I don't know if that's it.

"Rolling Sevens" by ABC? That's the only one I can come up with that has those lyrics included.

I'm not sure but the song by Black called "Wonderful Life" comes to mind. Definitely worth a listen if you never heard it. -Karl
