I've been racking my brain trying to remember the name of a song. There's a song out there that sounds very similar to "How soon is now" by The Smiths. Does anyone remember what that song is????

Probably "Hippychick" by Soho (a song from the early 90s). That song begins exactly the same way as "How Soon Is Now."

It wasn't Hippychick - I found a clip of it to be sure. It was something that was pretty mainstream in the late 80's. It might have pushed into the early 90's, but I'm pretty sure it was the 80's.

I assume it's not the cover versions by T.a.t.u. or Love Spit Love. We have a remix of "I Am Stretched On Your Grave" by Sinead O'Connor that samples Johnny Marr's guitar riff...could that be it? If not, were there any vocals? If so, male or female? Any additional info helps. BTW, in the future, you'll want to post song/lyrics questions under "Song Lyrics" in the "am i right?" section of the forum. :)
