Subject: Want to play a song lyric game?

Written By: Lillbrown on 10/28/04 at 1:22 am

I am ripping off this idea from a local radio station.  You give a two word combo that comes from a song, (in this case, from the 80's) and everyone has to try and guess the song and artist.  The only rule is that you must first guess correctly before posting a new one.  Here is mine.

Cool, good job!  I'll take this one, but remember that it must be an 80's song in this category, I am starting the same contest in each era, though.

Here's a few clues: the song title mentions a type of weather, the singer's last name is that of an animal, and think of early 80's country music

I just realised the song I quoted from was released in 1990, let me give you another one from the 80s.  It's from the same band but from 1987 instead:

"The sun was spitting fire, the sky was blue as ice, I felt a little tired so I watched 'Miami Vice.'"
