Written By: Revolution Baby on 11/12/04 at 7:21 am

The 4 disc set is now available!
I'm only part-way thru disc 1 and have almost gone into meltdown with good memories.... Ultravox.... Spandau Ballet... Status Quo... Adam Ant, etc.
At 10 hours or so, I think it's gonna be a long night ;)

oooooh.  I saw the ad on tv late last night and went all misty eyed.

I cant afford it at the moment so have subtley suggested to my father than instead of buying me stupid christmas treee decorations - like he does every year - despite the fact that I havent celebrated xmas for 25 years - that perhaps he could spend the money on a dvd for me !!!

Yeah, it doesn't come out here (in Canada) until the 16th. Rush and I are not going to bother. A lot of the bands' entire performances are not there (there might be half of it). Ultravox was one. Some bands refused to be included. Some are featured more than others. It just doesn't seem worth it.

Besides...I've got the full Ultravox performance anyway!! :D ;D

Wow - out of the 8 hours of Oz For Africa - held hours before Live Aid - they have only picked two INXS songs ?  God it was one of the best Oz gigs ever.

Glad I still have it all on video - even if it is on Beta !
