Subject: Shows Of The 80s, That You Want To Watch Again

Written By: T on 11/13/04 at 11:52 pm

I really feel like watching some 80s shows such as: Gimme A Break!, Fact of Life, Knots Landing, Our House, and (don't laugh) Muppet Babies ( because it reminds me of my early years) plus many other 80s shows. What 80s shows you would like to watch?

Dukes of Hazard.  BTW, I recently heard the term Daisy Dukes referring to ladies short pants. Is there a difference between hot pants, Daisy Dukes, and short shorts?

Yep, Dukes of Hazzard was the stupidest show ever and I'm from Georgia and we down here even thought it was corny-BUT watching Daisy in those cut-offs was addictive. My fav show was Hill Street Blues It actaully had a big influence on me becoming a policeman in real life until I discovered the reality of police work and was disillusioned and went back to more rewarding jobs.

Hill Street Blues is a great show, without it there would be no Law and Order or NYPD Blue.

Never was into any of these, thank goodness tv shows have never influenced me in any carreer decisions, scary to think of that!  Well, actually Cain from Kung Fu was my spirit master when I was a kid, never really wanted to kung fu any of the folks I've worked with over the years though, well maybe a couple ::)

Too Close for Comfort...I haven't thought about this one in years until I saw a repeat of Seinfeld and the guy who played "Monroe" was on playing a rude airplane steward.  I actually didn't put 2&2 together until my roommate said "Hey...that guy played Monroe in an old show!" ;)

To be honest I don't really either.  The only FH episode I don't like is the one from c. 1990 where Michelle loses the class parrot.  That one was weird and sad.  :(

I've mentioned it before in a post.. I loved the show Brain Games that played on HBO.  It was my favorite when I was very young.

Believe it or not Tales of the golden monkey was shown a couple of years ago on TvLand. Interestingly another show in which Catlin O'Henry starred in that I'd like to see was "The Charmings". Another one I'd like to see is the "The Wizard".
