Anyone here heard of or seen The Littlest Hobo? It was a show that ran from 1979-1985, and it was about a dog that went from place to place helping people, and it was one of my favorite shows, and I miss seeing it, I also like the show's theme song.

hi..i totally used to watch it as a kid in Nova Scotia..i actually used lyrics from the song in a 70s tv theme songs game on these boards recently and not surprisingly,i had to add hints since it was a bit obscure  :)

Yeah, wouldn't the dog go from city to city helping people and at the end of the show he would go running down the road off to the next city? It's sort of funny because he would be in Winnipeg one show, and on the next show he would be like in Hamilton or somewhere! Thats a pretty long walk! ;D

I use to watch that show, especially if I was sick and stuck in bed. I remember watching the dog running across the fields at the closing credits. Then afteward, I think it was "Fables of the Green Forest"....

Lassie is also one of my favorites!

Fables Of The Green Forest was on TV Ontario (the Canadian equivalant of PBS) at one point..

Yay!  I lived for this show growning up in Antigonish (totally small town in Nova Scotia).  In fact, last Halloween I was at a bar show (in Antigonish) and at the end of the night they ushered us out with The Littlest's theme song.  The entire bar erupted and sang along!
