Subject: Music Video Shows

My choices:

"120 Minutes"
"Headbanger's Ball"
"Yo! MTV Raps"
"Top 20 Countdown"
"Alternative Nation"

...Though I've only seen 'em in the early '90's .  (Too young & didn't have cable until 1994  :P)    :)

Though "120 Minutes" lasted until the "T.R.L." era and moved to MTV2...only to become "Subterrean", which is fairly OK

And "Headbanger's Ball" also returned to MTV2, but is now worse, obivious change of music scene or something...  :P

"Yo MTV Raps" basically took over MTV  :P (Though I like rap from the '80's to mid 1990's)

Finally, "MTV Top 20 Countdown" was good. I remember it being aired with The State & Beavis & Butt-Head in the mid 1990's.  8) I think VH1 only had "The Top 10 Countdown". Though I like Rachel Perry, current VJ, better than the hosts of the time. Besides that and a few specials, VH1 is another cesspool like current MTV.

TBS's Night Tracks is what I relied on for videos before MTV came to town.

My favorite 80's video show would have to be MTV's Tp 20 Video Countdown.  Mark Goodman was the host at the time I watched regularly.

I also loved Night Tracks.
