Subject: TV at school

During the 80's, my teachers would let us watch a lot of PBS during the day. One of my favorite shows was "Read All About It". It was sort of a mystery involving two girls, a guy and an "evil" villian named Duneedon (sp?). They had two computers that helped them solve all the clues that the villian would leave for them.
We also watched a lot of "Word Feathers". There was a woman that carried around a giant stuffed monkey and talked to it. There was also a character, Mr. Bones. This is where I learned the "song" Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar.

Read All About It reminds me of a show from the 90's called "Ghost Writer" a show from the 90's about a myserious glow orb that could read words, and help a group of kids solve mysteries.
