Hey Folks!

Wanted to submit a link to everyone liking 80s New Wave. Hopefully after viewing the site, you will be understand it's intended audience and find a home for it among your links...

Ah good old WDRE/WLIR.  What a great radio station.  While it was a shadow of its former self in recent years, it was still pretty solid.  I must say it was a damn shame when they killed it off and coverted to an all-spanish format.  Island 94.3 is a pretty decent replacement, but they have a short playlist and nowhere near the variety and quality that DRE/LIR once had.  :(

Thanks Mike.I believe 92.7 now is a heavy metal and hard rock station in New York City.

Any of you New Yorkers remember when Q104.3 was heavy metal?  Now THAT was a hell of a radio station.
