I have seen commericals for the Chia Pet, and have always been curious as to when it first came out. If anyone can help me out, let me know. Thanks.

One of my best friends and I always joke about getting the other one a Chia pet for Christmas. Of course we never have because we knew that the other would really hate the other for doing it. lol

My Mom gave me a Chia Pet once for Christmas. I grew it out once, and I was amazed by the results, but I sometimes debate whether to get rid of it.

Yeah, I remember that. I did see a commercial for a Chia Pet only yesterday so they are still on. But, I think the Clapper has gone the way of all those other "wonderful" gift ideas by Ronco and others.
