Subject: What 80's bands have dvd's?

Written By: RojoP on 12/17/04 at 12:15 am

I was reading the post that Woops had made and it got me to thinking about what 80's groups currently have or will have dvd's soon.  When I go to Best Buy I have a real hard time sifting through all the music dvds that they have.  So, it would be of great help to list dvds from the 1980's that you currently own or know of.

Here is my list:

Asia (Live in concert)
Biily Joel (Live at Yankee Stadium)
Journey (Greatest Hits)
Journey (Arrival)
Rick Springfield (live concert)
Heart (Alive in Seattle)
Sade (Lover's Live)
Dan Folgelberg (Greetings from the West)

Ultravox' "The Collection" is available on DVD now, but only in the UK and Europe, I believe. This is where eBay and a multi-region DVD player come in handy!! :D (Or you could just download the videos if you can find them.)

Thanks Vile - this would be an excellent DVD to purchase.

Oh it would!!! Ultravox has really fantastic videos, especially the ones from 1980-82 (the Vienna album thorugh to Quartet). So, if your DVD player can do Region 2, try and find it on eBay!! It's worth it! :)

Tears For Fears came out with three (?) DVD's, one of which I have

Going To California (1989)
In My Mind's Eye (1984)
(Both are concert DVD's)
I have their Music Video's DVD which has the same title as their 1992 greatest hits album.

The Cure came out with two other DVD's called Trilogy(2002), which is a concert DVD filmed in Berlin, Germany and a new one about their history as a band called Out Of The Woods, which came out in November of 2004.

Thomas Dolby might have come out with one which had all of his music videos called The Golden Age Of Video, which was also on video but might have been on DVD
