what was the story behind Mr. Crowley?  I remember hearing it years ago but can't remember the story.
wasn't he a real life sadistic scientist or something?

aleister crowley was an occultist and magician who was popular with the new age movements at the turn at the last century. many of his books and teachings have influenced millions of people with his esoteric teachings on the occult.

the song was ozzy's reaction to hearing a roadie relating a story about jimmy page and led zeppelin. jimmy page was into the occult and even purchased crowley's mansion. this roadie recieved a book of magic as a gift from jimmy page. in the first page, jimmy wrote:" ptolemically yours". ozzy wanted to know what that meant. the song 'mr. crowley' was about ozzy's ignorance on the occult, odd considering how his and sabbath's music have long been accused of being occultic.

I went with "Other" too.  As cheesy as some consider it, I really love "Bark at the Moon." :D

My favorite is "Momma I'm coming home".  Everytime I hear that song it reminds me of good times!

Well I love Crazy Train and Bark at the Moon, but I'd say the whole Ultimate Sin album was great. I guess if I picked one song off the album it'd be Killer of Giants. It always reminds me of the 80's, the cold war and when we were all waiting for the bomb to drop.

I only really like "Flying High Again".  That, and his Lita Ford duet "Close My Eyes Forever", were the only Top 40 hits he had here in the 80's.  He was more of an album success here

I'm sorry , but none of the above. Bark At The Moon or I Don't Know the live Randy Rhoads Tribute version & there were a few killer songs on The Ultimate Sin.

I said "Diary of a Madman," but that might because I'm a bigger fan of Gogol than Ozzy!

Two words: "Demon Alcohol".

As for my own vote, I have a 3 way tie:

No More Tears
You Can't Kill Rock 'n Roll
You're No Different
