I do. It's such a cool tune especially when I've had a rough day because of the lyrics.

"These are the things that I can do without....."

not really. i used to make fun of that song by replacing the lyrics: "sh**, sh**, let it all out..." it used to drive my friend batty...hehe. i loved all of their songs of the hurting, though.

Great song!
I particulary like the drum run in the middle.  Always have to air drum it - which drives my wife crazy when I am driving.

Yes, I really like that song, too.

Just as other beautiful songs by other bands, it brings back so many good feelings/memories about my younger years.

I would say it is kind of a hymn...

"Shout" is one of the best songs of 1985, perhaps the entire decade.  :)  I really like Gary Jules(?) cover of their 1983 hit "Mad World" (never heard the TFF version!)  Nas sorta remade "Everybody Wants to Rule the World".  Good song.  Their 1989 song, "Seeds of Love" is too poppy though.  Pure cheese.  :D

"Mad World" is such a great song, and I think the TFF original is the better of the two, though they are both fantastic.

I love the lyrics...

"Went to school and I was very nervous,
No one knew me, know one knew me,
Come on teacher, tell me, what's my lesson?
Look right through me, look right through me."

VERY Cold War.

I believe I mentioned it in another topic a while ago, but 'Pale Shelter' I still think is TFF's  best song.  It's just a perfect song with simple acoustic meeting ultimate desperation in his voice.

The video is quite awesome.  Especially with the paper airplane in the eye gag.  :D
