:-[ Does anyone know the name of a horror film that was in the early eighties i think?
I thought it starred Lance Hendrickson but i think i am wrong. I think it was about a young girl that was drowned in the bath of this house, she haunts the guy that lives there now and i can only remember a ball or basketball that would roll into the room by itself. He took it to a bridge and tossed it over but when he got home and opened the door it bounced down the stairs.....Oooooh...oogy boogy boogy! Can you help?

It's the cult classic Canadian horror movie, The Changeling. Haven't seen it, but I here it's really creepy.

It is really creepy. Relies on the story for creepiness instead of gore. Very effective.

For a second I thought of "Deadly Friend" with Kristy Swanson. I think in that film there is a scene where the girl knocks someones head off with a basketball.
