Yeah, Memory Lane rules.  My favorite songs on it are Dance, Run To Her, Feels So Right, and Taken By You.

Personally, Deborah is my favorite artist and I support her 100% in whatever she chooses to do.  I probably won't buy the magazine though and will just find the pictures and article on the net somewhere, but I say more power to her in her choices.  I am looking forward to the new album upcoming.

I agree that just b/c some dissapears from the pop spotlight doesn't make them a has been if they've continued in other areas that may not be so well known.

And, yeah, as woops said, "Deborah", "MYOB", etc., all those albums are quality work from a true artist.  I am proud to own them all.  I think "Deborah", from 1997, is one of the most passionate albums ever recorded and perhaps her best.

I've only been a fan of Deborah for four years due to my relatively young age (I was about 3 when the first album came out and do not consciously remember when she was popular).  To my estimation, if her music can hook me in to the extent that it has where I have compulsively purchased all of her albums and continue to listen to them consistently, then what I have found is an artist who rings true to my soul.

Considering her mom Diane is still her manager, I doubt that she was continuously persuaded to do the shoot.  ::)

And if anyone thinks that she hasn't already tried to shed a "clean image", just watch the videos for What You Want and Losin' Myself.

Maybe Tiffany will follow in her footsteps. ::)

I was also very young  when Deborah Gibson came "Out of the Blue" in 1987 and discovered her music from watching  '80's music video specials on MTV & VH1 in the mid 1990's. Though I didn't buy her albums until 1999. (My tastes in 1997 was more of new wave & alternative...hip hop later on... anything goes from 1999 to the present with the exception of country)


Her music videos can be seen on her web site and her video for "What You Want" is available  on VHS. (Though I don't know if it's still on stock)

Would it sell? I really don't care since  most of the best music today isn't seen on MTV or on the Billboard top 10.  :)
