For those of you who still think the 80's music is the best (as I), who do you enjoy now adays? I never really liked anything current until Michelle Branch's CD in 2001. (other than an occasional song here and there)

i like vnv nation and the cruxshadows. both bands mine 80s new wave for inspiration.

I'm beginning to like Ladytron, having just heard them finally. They're really good! Also, Fisherspooner's pretty good from what I've heard so far, same with Client. I'm not up on a lot of current music though.
Incidentally...shouldn't this thread be on the 2000's forum? Just wondering...

oops i also wanted to add "The Sounds" aka Blondie Lauper
I swear ithey are totally 3 different 80's bands/singers Cyndi Lauper, Blondie and a bit of Kim Wilde!

Most of todays songs get annoying after a while. I like Alicia Keys, Usher, GreenDay, Blink 182
