Subject: Trying to find out name of toy from 1983-ish

Hi,
I had a doll in 1983 that I thought was the coolest. It was a barbie-sized doll but she was made by another manufacturer. She had a rubber seam down the sides of her body and you used a special tool to press fabric into the seam in order to "make" clothes without sewing. The doll came in a big kit with patterns and fabric but I also remember add-on sets that could be purchased, like a wedding gown, etc.
If you can remember the name of this doll, PLEASE let me know!
