Subject: Choose Your Own Adventure

Does anyone here remember Choose Your Own Adventure novels?  They where some of my favorite books from awhile back. The idea of choosing what happens next, was my favorite of the series.

I loved those. It used to be so much fun...once you died you just went back to the last part you were reading and choose a different path. :)

Here's a great link on it..

i doubt it. millions of those books were published and it's only been twenty years since they came out. and it all depends on the condition of the book, any dogears or broken spine and the book would be worthless, maybe fetch a quarter at a yard sale, nothing more.

I loved loved loved the Ian Livingstone ones.  I read a few of them as well as Choose Your Own Adventure.

There also used to be ones that read like black and white comic books.  They were sci-fi type ones, but I don't remember what they were called

Gosh...I used to love those. Don't remember the names of the ones that I read though. I haven't read them in ages. I remember in the '90s R.L. Stine decided to try his luck at a Choose Your Adventure type book called Goosebumps: Choose Your Own Nightmare books. They were pretty good too. ;) My favorite Choose Your Own Nightmare book was one about an evil carnival.

The pictures were incredibly detailed and the plot twists and turns with each page made the whole thing addictive! 'Temple of Terror' was my favourite.
