there's a bunch of funny articles and satire columns about classic 80s movies and icons. i read some hilarious stuff at writer Rob Bloom's website. http://www.robbloom.com/popculture.htm

yeah, the Rob Bloom articles are pretty funny. i wouldn't say david sedaris though. more like dave barry. i like the article about missing socks the best. it talks all about what happens when socks disappear in the dryer. that's right here http://www.robbloom.com/creative/missingsock.htm
but the 80s articles are really good. check out the one about the bad guy from the karate kid, johnny lawrence. it's under the pop culture section on the rob bloom website.

If you're ever considering getting married or engaged, you've got to read the Wedding (e)Vent article. You will laugh your ass off. The Brandon Walsh article is an instant classic. Sedaris....Dave Barry....watch out....Here comes Rob Bloom. :)
