I don't think she should be catergorized with one over the other. 1989 was a HUGE year for her, as well as 1990. It's hard to distinguish artists who had fame in that timeframe of late 80s/early 90s.

I do ... but I'm geek that way. Paula Abdul is truly half and half of both. She was big into the 90s but not far into them.
Anyway, she sounds like a b*tch to me though. Pretty good looking though, esp. considering her age.
