Subject: 80s/early 90s toy - I can't remember it's name. Or WHAT it was?

I can't remember the name of this toy? It sort of looked like a white-colored Ewok, but with a flat face, and it wore a little hooded cape. I remember that the creature's little round eyes would light up or something. That was a main feature to it. The box, featured artwork of the creature hidding in forest bushes, with his eyes glowing. I remember seeing this toy in a toystore many many years ago, and I've forgotten it's name. It was from around 1988/89 (maybe, 1990?)
Anyone remember? ÂÂ

I'm guessing it was a Chubble.
