"The Cosby Show" was one of the highest rated sitcoms of the '80's. Were you a fan of the show? :)
IMO, it's one of the most overrated shows of the '80's.

I loved The Cosby Show -my whole family loved it! The only thing I didn't like was the long, boring ad breaks -nothing's changed! ;)

I like the Cosby Show - I thought it was hilarious the way Dr Huxtable talked to his kids. ;D

Overrated, and perhaps a tad .... no, I will just leave it at that...
I can watch Bill Cosby till the cows come home but I am afraid the rest of the show just left me flat :(

So true! One of my favourite scenes was when Dr H and little Rudi were sad about Sondra leaving for college. Dr H holds a mirror up to the two of them:
Dr H: You think you look sad? I look sad!
Rudi: I look sadder!
Dr H: Ok, you look sad, but I look pitiful!
Rudi: I look pitiful-er!
Dr: Ok, you look sad and you look pitiful, but I look patheitc!
Rudi: I look pathetic-er!
;D

I thought the Cosby Show was hysterical!  ;D To this day, I will stop what I'm doing and watch it. Some of my favorite episodes are when Denise makes Theo a shirt, when they meet Stevie Wonder, and when Rudy's fish dies.
Classic TV that shows today can't even compare with.

when Denise makes Theo a shirt
Even today, when I see something that's too long, I will say "it's TUCKED into my SOCKS!!!" :D
I'd have to say things did get old (her repeated the family-mimed blues birthday thing way too many times) and then beaten to death. I suppose in that vein, I'd rate it "Loved it until..." although don't blame Raven Symone per se.

Great show. Classic '80s TV. I wish they had shows like that now for my kids to watch.
