Yes, Charlie Dore was just into the 80's, she had a big hit with the irritatingly sweet "Pilot Of The Airwaves"  :-\\

I understand Diesel in the same way that Mandamoo described it.  It was Johnny Diesel & The Injectors, and then he somewhat pretentiously changed his name to "Diesel"  ::)

Diesel sang the song "Sausalito Summernights"

Both 'Pilot of the Airwaves' and 'Sausalito Summernight' were #1 hits here in Canada.  I Still love both songs, but I like the Diesel one a bit more.  I have their 'Watts in A Tank' album on cassette :)
