Subject: Who was the crazy cartoon guy on tee shirts???

Hey hey does anybody here remember a crazy cartoon guy with wavy hair who was on tee shirts (big huuuuge ones) circa 1988? This character had some name that was supposedly cool, and it looked a little like the little production logo that is on the very end of Jay Leno's programme.. One of my friends had one of those shirts but I never did cause they didn't really appeal to me... but now they do as a bit of trivia! A few years back once The Facts of Life came on Nick at Nite, I SAW ONE OF THOSE SHIRTS IN THE STORE whenever Cloris Leachman took over from Ms Garrett with the crazy hair... I hope this rings a bell for some of you!!! Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you ever so much, from your newbie anchorless

Was it "Fido Dido"? I haven't seen one of those in a while.
