I've recently seen repeats of both shows and never go into them. Also don't know why they were considered the best shows... :P No offense to fans of these two shows.

I think Cosby was more overrated. It would have been alot better without Rudy or Vanessa. I just wanted to slap those two. They annoyed the crud out of me.

Cosby Show definitely. It was ok in the beginning but towards the middle and end it got very annoying.

I'm proud to say that I've never watched a complete episode of "Cosby" while I always loved "Cheers" :)

Cheers is probably the better show of the two. The Cosby Show was only at its best and funniest when it was about Bill Cosby "Dr. Huxtable" and his son Theo. Especially the early shows with those two.

The Cosby Show was hilarious.........although the later episodes (like all sitcoms) sucked. Overall, I'll still stop and watch reruns.

"Cheers" was never that good to me. I never understood the appeal of the going ons at a bar and it's bartenders. I would say the individual performances and characters were highly original and generally more appealing than the show on a whole. "The Cosby Show" I would say was a better show. It just seemed to flow better with me. I use to watch reruns of it after the 11 o'clock news (way past by bedtime :0)

Cheers was a lighthearted, funny show and was way better than Cosby!

Never was a fan of either but in my opinion, Cosby Show. Always thought Bill Cosby was highly overrated. Never liked him at all.
