Subject: 80s Night at Wrigley Field Tonite!!

Written By: Todd on 07/25/05 at 4:57 pm

Hey!!  Any of you Chicago-land 80s fans going to the Cubs game tonite?  I'll be there...look for the guy in the Cubs t-shirt and red-white-blue petticoat skirt!!  And my GF will be dressed similarly.  Its EIGHTIES NIGHT at Wrigley Field tonight, Cubs -vs- Giants.  Deborah Gibson is throwing out the first pitch and she's singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch!   GO CUBBIES!!!!

Missed the game (as always) but I did hear it while making deliveries at the nearby 7-11s on Halsted and Belmont.  Go Cubs!

80s night?
wasn't the Cubs still playing only day games in the 80s?

For the most part.  Their first night game was 08/08/88.
