Subject: Anyone remember the invisible dude?

I saw this cartoon when I was about four (I was born in 1985). It had these characters who took an unconcious professor to a hospital and when they got there he made a miraculous recovery and meanwhile there was a little invisible dude that doctors were trying to experiment on or something. He escaped at one point and went into the childrens ward where at first the kids were afraid then they loved him and then the doctors took him back. The last I remember is when the other characters with the professor found him and one said, "What are they trying to do to that little invisible dude?"
Anyone have any idea of what it is called?
