Subject: "monkey man" music video- who was that??

hope someone can help,,, there was a music video (early days of MTV) and i think it was called "monkey man" or at least that was the repeating hook line of the song. filmed in a sound stage/jungle setting, the singer was a gal in a (what else) tarzan/jane type animal skin mini dress and there was a dude or 2 in monkey costumes running around.
If you have any info on this group or video please let me know. i know it existed but i can't find anyone who remembers it. thanks tons

Yep, it existed - but not on MTV.
It was used repeatedly during a Nickelodeon show called "Turkey Television".

As far as who actually did the song... I cannot help you out there at all.
I remember that Meatloaf also had a video/song that played on Turkey TV all the time. Dunno if that helps at all, but it may be a point in the right direction.
