Subject: Klondike Bar Commercials

Does anyone remember that jingle? I remember the one guy in the commercial would bite into one and he'd either freeze up and get real cold or *I may have this confused with the York mint commercial, as well* he jumped up real high in excitement.

The slogan is misleading. I've tried it out on dates before, and it never works. Apparently, there isn't much a woman will do for a Klondike Bar! :D

That's cause most women, when on a date, would prefer something with a stick. ;)

I love those commercials! I remember them mostly from about 1992-95 though.
The song went, "For that chocolate-y coated ice cream, loaded no room for a stick. What would ya do-oo-oooh, for a Klondike Bar?"
The ones I'm familar with would have a guy asking some random person on the street to do something to get a Klondike. One in particular went something like this:
ANNOUNCER: Would you make monkey sounds for Klondike bar?
GUY: I don't think so.
ANNOUNCER: It's a rich and creamy Klondike.
GUY: (weakly) Ohh, ohh ohh
ANNOUNCER: It's got chocolate
GUY: (does it slightly louder)
Song plays:
GUY: (wildly) Oh- ah-ooooh OOH! (It's hard to copy that in writing, LOL!)
ANNOUNCER: You can stop acting like a monkey now.
GUY: (laughs)
Why I remember all that is anyone's guess. ;D

I can remember one with a business man in a suit and tie riding around on a little scooter thing that was made for a 3 year old to ride on

Sorry man, that's purely my fault, LOL! ;D
PS: I also remember a few more -- "Can you be a teapot?", "Can you act like your dog?" and, to two big tough guys, "Would you two play PattyCake?" :D

I remember back in the day not being able to get the damn jingle for Hellman's mayonnaise out of my head either. Thankfully I can no longer remember it. (I don't need to be reminded either LOL)

Bring out the hellmans... and bring out the best! :D
and just a note: hellmans was the name used on the east coast... the west coast people would know it as "bring out the best foods... and bring out the best"

I believe the jingle lyric was "for that chocolate-covered ice cream, loaded big and rich no room for a stick."
But I could be wrong.

Yeah the "big and rich" part sounds right.. but I think it's chocolatey-coated ice cream...
