She does look great! She's only about 11 years and 9 months older than me.. I've got some catching up to do (but I am glad that 35 is that far away... :0)
She's also born on my Dad's birthday - strange!

It's all a matter of perception. It only seems like she's "older" because she already had her biggest time in the spolight - back when she was like 17-20. If she were just coming on to the scene now, people would still think of her as fairly young - she does still look it (just as cute in 2005 as in 1987!!). :)
I only have a vague memory of a couple of her songs in the late 80's (though I heard 'em all by the 90's) - my favorite was and still is "Out of the Blue". Really fun and happy pop in a guilty pleasure kind of way.
"Foolish Beat" was the best of the ballads. Listen to alot of the super sweet/sappy love songs in the second half of the 70's - this sounds kind of like an 80's incarnation of that. Of course with me that's a good thing!

She was never that big over here (compared to almost everywhere else), but she could concoct charming little bits of fluff...
