Anyone here a fan of A Nightmare On Elm Street, and if so which one is your favorite? Mine is part one.

I like the first alot, unfortunatly Freddy became somewhat of a comedian from hell after part one, not the scary monster he was in the first one.

The first Nightmare on Elm Street was great.  I never saw any of the others (yet).

Here's some trivia:

Heather Langenkamp (who played Nancy) also starred on the sitcom "Just the Ten of Us".  In one of the episodes, she made reference to a rusty knife that was stuck in a cuttingboard and said "Looks like something from A Nightmare on Elm Street"

Something else intersting, one of Johnny Depp's early roles was as Glen, Nancy's ill fated neighbour (the scene where he gets killed is really messy). Johnny later made a cameo in Freddy's Dead.

I'm a Huge Horror Movie fan and I loved the "Elm Street" Series

"A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3: The Dream Warriors" has always been my favorite (It's also the favotire among many fans of the series)

It was such a Great series of movies, even though they obviously got weaker after Part 4

Part one definitely! The best one.

Part three: Dream Warriors is a good one too b/c it was written and produced by Wes himself.

I was a huge Freddy fan back then. I like the first one as a pure slasher/horror flick, and I liked part 3: Dream Warriors as well.although it didn't take itself as serious as the first. The soundtrack for Dream Warriors is awesome to. Dokken does the main song and Freddy appears in the music video as well.
