Aldo Nova was Canadian. He had two hits in 1982 with Fantasy and Foolin' Yourself, two songs which I loved back then and still love today :)
He also wrote the song Don't You Wan't My Love for Canadian Italo-disco artist Chantal Condor. In 1986, it also became a popular dance hit for Nicole, the version which was heard in the film Ruthless People. I enjoy both versions, but Nicole's version is one of my favourite dance hits of the 80's :)
