Who here is a fan of Evil Dead and/or Evil Dead 2, and if so which one is your favorite? ???

I only ever saw Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3). I should sometime get around to seeing the first two. I hear they are really good :)

Definately "Evil Dead 2"

Alot of people like to say that "Evil Dead 2" is actually just a more Comedy driven Remake of the 1st, but Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi have both denied that

I thought "Evil Dead 2" was just alot more Fun and memorable. Although Part 1 is still Great

yeah! people always say part i was all camp and it's got some campy bits big time, but i think there are parts of that movie that really are effective as straight-up horror. i love the beginning when they're listening to the weird incantation on the tape, and the blown-out bridge that looks like a claw, and the POV shots of the unnameable horror in the woods... it's nice stuff.

evil dead 2 is good too, but i gotta say the first one edges it out.

evil dead 2 was very funny.
both very good movies

The original, which is actually titled The Evil Dead.

I know now that my wife has become host to a Candarian demon. I fear that the only way to stop those possessed by the spirits of the book is through the act of... bodily dismemberment.

I thought the voice said, "my wife has become host to a Canadian demon"
