"Ghostbusters." It made Huey Lewis mad, 'coz it was a blatant rip off of "I Want A New Drug."
Runner up: "The Other Woman"
"Aahm in luuv wid de uddah wummuh"

Nope. The "Ghostbusters" people wanted Lewis to do the song, but couldn't broker a deal for reasons I can't recall, so they got RP,Jr. to do the song they'd wanted Lewis to do--which sounded just like "I Want a New Drug," Lewis's then-big hit. Play them back to back, and you'll see why Huey filed a law suit!
It's sort of like the way Billy Ocean all but confessed "Caribbean Queen" was a total ripoff of Jacko's "Billie Jean."
Anyway...

Tell me about it! I was a DJ at that time, and imagine having to play it 4 or 5 times a night!
Luckily, this is right at the time that 12" singles came out. That way I could play what I considered an "overplayed" song, and have it sound fresh again. And by mixing them up, it did not seem so repetative.
I still remember the first time I played the "Extended Version". It starts out the same as the original one, but the intro is like 3 times longer. The thing at the club had been for the audience to scream out "Ghostbusters!" at the appropriate time. The first time I played it, it was like "GHOSTbusters", because they realized the chorus in the song were not singing with them. Then came all the looks at the DJ booth (which was upstairs, overlooking the dance floor), wondering what in the heck I was playing.
As far as the lawsuit, that is nothing new. When they were unable to get Huey to do the title, they contacted Ray asking for a song that "Sounded like I Want A New Drug". Such "inspired plagerism" is nothing new, in records or in movies. Heck, Elvis got his start that way, because he "sounded black". And "Yesterday" is a Beatles' song which was trying to sound like "Simon And Garfunkle's" "Bridge Over Troubled Waters".
And a tad of trivia: In the song, Ray Parker never says the word "Ghostbusters". He thought it would be silly to sing it, so came up with the idea of having the chorus scream it at him in answer to his question "Who ya gonna call?"
And of course, this was parodied by Weird Al in a song called "Slime Creatures From Outer Space" (one of his songs inspired by an artist's style, but not of any one particular song).
